What is the goal of this project?
The goal of this project is to create a support system for women who have had a miscarriage or lost their babies in another way. By sharing your story, I hope to make the subject less taboo. When women go through the horrible ordeal of losing a child, they shouldn't feel like something is wrong with them or that they are alone in the world, they should feel like there are people to talk to about it and most of all know that it is not their fault.
what do i need to do to sign up?
To sign up, text/call/email or message me on Facebook messenger. I will need your mailing address and your name. I will mail you a packet with the information for you to fill out your story. After you're done filling everything out and have your story down on paper mail it back to me so I have it by July 1, 2021. You can share as much or a little as you would like.
who is elligible to sign up?
Anyone who has lost a baby due to miscarriage, still birth, SIDS, etc. Any age can sign up also. We have Moms with rainbow babies who have their own babies! You're never too old to tell your story!
What will the shoot consist of?
By the first week in July, I will alert everyone who has signed up what time to arrive. Upon arrival, you will check in, sign your model contract and use our designated dressing area to change into your gown if you are not already dressed. I will take individual photos of each Mother, if rainbow babies are included, they will also have a couple individual poses as well as with Mom. Then I will take a photo with all Mom's wearing colored gowns, a photo with all Mom's wearing white gowns, and everyone all together. Upon dismissal, you will sign out and receive your folder full of information as well as anyone's stories which we have permission to share. Over the course of the next days, I will be sharing one Mother's story per day as well as her photos. One Mother per day will give the recognition each woman deserves. Just a reminder, this project does not cost anything to participate in.
When will the shoot take place?
The date of the shoot will be July 25. 2021. The time will depend on how many women sign up. I will have a final time line sent out to all applicants by the first week in July.

WHat do i wear?
All moms who are participating will be wearing formal floor length gowns. Moms with rainbow babies will be dressed in any color in the rainbow, Moms with only angel babies will be dressed in white. Rainbow babies will also be dressed in all white clothing. You are free to use your own gown (upon approval to make sure it fits with the group aesthetic) or you can borrow a gown from our ever growing customer closet.

A "rainbow baby" is the pregnancy after you have lost your child due to miscarriage, still birth, SIDS, etc. I am requesting that only your rainbow babies join in on the photo shoot, however they are not a requirement to attend.
In return you will receive:
Every participant that stays for the entire shoot (or until dismissed, unless discussed previously) will receive an email or text (your preference) with your watermarked images, a candle in remembrance of your lost children, a folder containing the contact information of anyone who wishes to be on the contact list, as well as some other information for the area. If you wish to have unmarked images or a disk containing all the images from the day, they will be available for order after the images are edited.
